New Delhi: The Navy has recovered the body of Nishant Singh, the pilot commander of the MiG-29K fighter jet that crashed on November 26 last month. The body of Commander Nishantcha was found 11 days later today after an extensive search operation by the Indian Navy at a distance of 30 miles from the Goa coast. The body was in 70 meters deep water. The MiG-29K crashed while operating in the Arabian Sea.

On November 26, Commander Nishant took off from INS Vikramaditya. But after a while, their plane crashed. One pilot was rescued in the crash. However, Commander Nishant was not found. He was later searched by the Navy and the Air Force. The search operation has been halted after Nishant’s body was found.

The skeleton of the MiG-29 was found at a distance of 70 km from Goa. The Navy has ordered an inquiry into the crash. The cause of the accident is being investigated.

The MiG-29K is the original two-seater Russian coach jet. The aircraft was purchased from the aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya for action. Recently the US, Japan, Australia, and the Indian Navy conducted war games in the Arabian Sea. The exercise also included MiG-29K aircraft.

In particular, a MiG crashed during regular practice in Goa in February this year. However, the pilot managed to get out safely in that incident.
