In a rainy session held in September, the central government aggressively passed three agriculture bills in Parliament. After the President’s signature, these bills have also been turned into law. However, these laws are widely opposed by agricultural organizations and farmers.

These three agricultural laws have been implemented across the country since September 27 after President Ramnath Kovind affixed the seal of approval.

Farmers from Punjab and Haryana started agitation saying ‘Let’s go to Delhi’. Today is the 12th day of this movement.
