New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today stopped Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar during his speech at the Chief Minister’s meeting on the issue of the Corona crisis. Modi advised Khattar to talk about the strategy to overcome the corona rather than talking about numbers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today discussed the Covid-19 outbreak with 8 Chief Ministers of the country through video conferencing. 

Speaking on contract tracing, Chief Minister Khattar said that the average daily increase in corona infection in Haryana is around 2000. In the meantime, Prime Minister Modi stopped him and said, ‘Manoharji, we have already got the numbers. Tell us your thoughts on your plan to control the corona infection. ‘

After that, Prime Minister Modi urged the Chief Minister to state his views in writing on his Covid-19 strategy. “No one can implement any vision, we all have to work together,” Modi said.

Haryana was witnessing the third wave of the corona, Chief Minister Khattar told the media after the meeting. We were first asked to make a list of who would be vaccinated. “The vaccine will be given by category – health workers will be given priority first and then we will give it by category,” Khattar said. “We have not yet decided on the category criteria,” Khattar said.

Stating that one crore masks are being distributed in the state of Haryana, Khattar also announced a ban on rallies in districts near Delhi, including Gurgaon and Faridabad.

The meeting was convened by Prime Minister Modi and was attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Kerala Chief Minister K.S. Pinarayi Vijayan and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal were present.
