Nine bodies in hand
Nine bodies have been recovered so far and more than 100 others are missing. All of them are believed to have died. Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar said that 16 people trapped in the water near Tapovan Dam were rescued and shifted to safer places.
Fear of some being trapped under the Tapovan mine
Excavation is underway by ITBP jawans to open the Tapovan mine. The door of the mine was closed due to debris. Many people are said to be trapped under the rubble.
CM in Reni village
