India-China standoff: India beats China with their own moves, creates underground maze –Indian Army deployed tunnel defense in Ladakh as preemptive measure to Chinese PLA tactics

New Delhi: Tensions remain high between India and China over the LAC border in eastern Ladakh. China is propagating how much we are superior to India. Now the Indian army has defeated China by its own moves. The Indian Army has flouted China’s war manual and deployed ‘tunnel defenses’ in Ladakh to respond to any action by the Dragons. This tactic was used by the Chinese army in the second war against Japan, Hindustan Times reported.

Full readiness of the Chinese Army (PLA)

The PLA has built tunnels to deploy fighter jets at Lhasa airbase and is making underground preparations on Henan Island to house nuclear submarines in the South China Sea. Against this backdrop, the Indian Army has constructed tunnels of large diameter Hume concrete pipes to protect its troops from enemy attacks and to carry out occasional attacks, a senior Indian Army official said.

Why are Hume Pipes Special?

Hume reinforced concrete pipes are 6 to 8 feet in diameter. Through these underground pipes, soldiers can easily reach from one place to another. This protects them from enemy fire. The advantage of these tunnels is that they can be heated in the cold and the soldiers can take shelter in them to protect themselves from snow storms.

Tensions in Ladakh

Troops from both countries face off in the Galvan Valley in eastern Ladakh. There has been tension between India and China since May. So far there have been two violent clashes in the area. Meetings are underway at the military and diplomatic levels between the two countries to defuse tensions. Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh, on the other hand, face a threat from China. There the dragon has become aggressive.
